• Road construction specialist: You precisely implement construction and surfacing work on the cantonal roads, thereby contributing to a smooth infrastructure
• Ready for winter service: During winter service, you lend a hand according to the on-call planning and ensure that the roads remain safe and drivable
• Safety comes first: By correctly signaling construction sites, you ensure that all work proceeds smoothly and safely
• Accustomed to construction machinery up to 12 tons

What you bring with you:

• Completed vocational training as a road builder or mason
• Category B driving license mandatory
• High level of personal responsibility with a flair for manual work
• A car and residence in the region (maximum 30 minutes) is a prerequisite for winter and on-call service
• Ideally driving license C1, or the willingness to obtain it

In the Department of Construction, Transport and Environment, we actively develop the diverse living space of Aargau in the areas of space, energy, environment and mobility -- today and for future generations.
From greenery maintenance to winter service, from the redesign of local through-roads to innovative traffic management and the planning of new, safe and environmentally compatible transport facilities -- in the Civil Engineering Department (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/bvu/ueber-uns/organisation/abteilung-tiefbau) we ensure the construction, maintenance and operation of the over 1'150 km long cantonal road network as well as the expansion of the more than 950 km comprehensive cycle route network.
