In view of the retirement of the current position holder, the Centre social protestant Berne-Jura is looking to hire, for its legal sector, a: Main tasks: • provide legal advisory services to the users of CSP Berne-Jura, particularly regarding administrative law (including asylum and aliens law), civil law (separation, divorce, filiation, succession), social and private insurance law, law of obligations, criminal law • ensure a weekly legal helpline by telephone (initial clarification interview, analysis, orientation, and advice) • accompany couples in their separation as part of mixed consultations with the marriage counselor of CSP Berne-Jura • provide legal support to the staff of the social and debt sectors and couples and families, depending on needs and considering available resources Requirements: • bar attorney certificate or Master in law completed with proven experience related to the function • strong interest in administrative and social law, sensitivity to social and human issues, and a taste for interdisciplinary work • great capacity for listening, analysis, and synthesis, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach • sense of organization, spirit of initiative, and autonomy • communication and writing skills and aptitude for negotiation • mastery of usual IT tools • good knowledge of German would be an asset Workplaces: Biel/Bienne as well as Tramelan and Moutier Start date: 1st November 2026 or date to be agreed Interested?
