You will be part of the optometrists' team, while exercising an activity mainly oriented towards clinical research. Within the clinical research team and under the supervision of the head of the CIC, you will play a key role in the realization of research protocols.
As such, you will contribute to the conduct of clinical studies, the management of participants, and the realization of medico-technical examinations, in strict respect of good clinical practices (ICH-GCP), study protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Your contribution will be essential to the proper functioning of the service's research projects, as well as the quality, reliability, and valorization of clinical data.
Your main activities
At the heart of clinical studies
Organize participants' appointments according to the timelines imposed by the protocols
Carry out medico-technical examinations related to the studies (BCVA ETDRS, imaging)
Ensure the preparation and management of the material necessary for certifications and protocols
Enter and document clinical data as well as adverse events in the eCRF/CRF
Participate in the management and analysis of data and images from the studies
Contribution to the functioning of the service
Guarantee the proper functioning and maintenance of technical equipment (ETDRS, imaging, etc.)
Participate in the logistics of the studies (biological samples, laboratory equipment, medical devices)
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service's procedures and processes
Implication in research projects
Participate, depending on the projects, in the writing of documents related to the studies (guidelines, operational supports)
Contribute to the preparation of submission files to the competent authorities
Your assets
HES diploma in optometry or equivalent title, Red Cross recognition of the diploma is imperative
Minimum 3 years of confirmed clinical experience in optometry, ideally in a hospital setting
Authorization to practice under one's own responsibility in Switzerland
GCP certificate recognized by national CER is a plus
Recognized training in clinical research, an asset
