Master Data Manager SAP (a)

Goal of the role:

In this key position, you will take responsibility for the global governance and quality of material, customer, and vendor master data within the SAP system landscape. You will ensure data consistency throughout the entire product lifecycle and actively drive standardization, data quality, as well as international transformation and migration projects.

Your tasks:

Responsibility for the creation, maintenance, modification, and decommissioning of material, customer, and vendor master data

Ensuring consistent data standards, approval processes, and data quality guidelines

Maintenance of material master data, bills of materials, and production-relevant master data

Coordination of customer and vendor master data including SAP Business Partner roles and extensions

Support of ERP migrations, SAP S/4HANA implementations, and international site transfers

Carrying out data validations, cleanups, and data quality analyses

Coordination with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and IT

Monitoring relevant data quality KPIs and implementing improvement measures

Optimization of master data processes, automations, and workflows

Conducting training and supporting international user groups

Your profile:

Several years of experience in SAP master data management in an international industrial or production environment

Very good knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA

Experience with material masters, bills of materials, as well as customer and vendor master data

Knowledge of the SAP Business Partner concept and ideally SAP MDG

Experience with ERP migrations, data migrations, or SAP rollouts

Understanding of production, logistics, procurement, and supply chain processes

Very good Excel skills and strong analytical abilities

Structured and solution-oriented way of working

Very good German and English skills

Strong communication personality with experience in stakeholder management
