To support our extraordinary teams, who develop great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking for a Process Engineer Injection Molding (a) for our location in Hägglingen / AG, effective immediately or by arrangement.

Process Engineer Injection Molding 100% (a)

These tasks await you:

• Development and optimization of injection molding processes for new and existing products;
• Sampling and acceptance of injection molding tools at the tool supplier as well as at the production site;
• Responsibility and technical leadership for the application of statistical methods and Design of Experiments (DOE) for process development and process optimization;
• Support in the qualification and validation of injection molding processes, tools, and production equipment including commissioning;
• Programming and optimization of handling and robot systems;
• Technical support for production, conducting error and root cause analyses, as well as implementing sustainable improvement measures;
• Design and selection of suitable injection molding machines and production equipment;
• Collaboration in design reviews of injection molding tools and evaluation of manufacturability.

Qualifications you should bring:

• Completed basic training as a plastics technologist and sound experience in injection molding with technical thermoplastics, 2K applications, and high-cavity tools;
• Very good understanding of injection molding tools, injection molding machines, and production peripherals;
• High technical understanding as well as a structured and practical approach to error analysis;
• Independent way of working and willingness to take responsibility for processes and systems;
• Good communication and teamwork skills in an interdisciplinary environment;
• Very good German skills and good English skills;
• Willingness for occasional travel and acceptances at suppliers;
• Open mindset as well as joy and curiosity to learn new things and to develop professionally towards Data Science, Six Sigma.

What you ideally bring in addition:

• Further education HF/FH in the field of plastics technology, mechanical engineering, production technology, or comparable;
• Experience in a regulated production environment, ideally in the MedTech and cleanroom sector;
• Experience with statistical process analysis and DOE;
• Knowledge in process qualification and validation;
• Experience with robotics, handling, or automated production systems;
• Minitab knowledge.
