DATA SCIENTIST (m/w/d)

The Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG, a company of the globally active Endress+Hauser Gruppe, is a leading provider of physical, chemical and biological sensors. For the further expansion of our high-tech company, which employs approximately 500 employees worldwide, we are looking for a Data Scientist (m/w/d) for the Ebnat-Kappel (Switzerland) location, effective immediately. Your tasks include: ▪ Obtaining and visualizing insights from our process data ▪ Creating statistical models for real-time process monitoring ▪ Maintenance and expansion of our measurement and process database ▪ Connecting plants using self-developed middleware (php or python) ▪ Collaboration in procurement projects for plants in the subject area of data connection ▪ Maintenance and expansion of our IoT network (new IoT devices, data visualization etc.) You bring the following qualifications: ▪ Completed studies (ETH/UNI) with a focus on Data Science or a comparable education ▪ Interest in server management and databases (Linux and MySQL) ▪ Knowledge of device interfaces (RS-232, Modbus, IP-based protocols) ▪ Experience in server-side programming (php, python), client-side programming (javascript), MQTT and/or IoT devices (ESP32, Arduino) is an advantage ▪ Very good English and German skills As an innovative, internationally oriented company, we offer you a long-term perspective as well as attractive development and further training opportunities.
