Apprenticeship Laboratory Technician EFZ (a), specialization Chemistry Interlabor Belp AG – that is us! We are an internationally successful and independent service laboratory with a 60-year history. With around 100 employees, we offer diverse chemical, physical and biological analyses in the areas of pharmaceuticals, medical products, cosmetics, phytopharmaceuticals, environment and food. In addition to routine testing, our strengths lie in the individual development and validation of analytical methods. Your training with us: You will mainly be active in the Pharma Raw Materials department, where you will learn the basics and perform the first independent analyses, among other things. During your apprenticeship, you will get to know various sides of analytics and learn area-specific methods in the areas of Pharma Finished Products, Elements and Traces during your internships. You will carry out chemical experiments, monitor them and interpret the results. To do this, you will learn various methods and how to handle analytical instruments, such as UV- and IR-measurements, titrations, wet chemical methods and also with high-tech devices such as HPLC and GC. At Interlabor, you will work with a variety of sample materials such as food, medicines, raw materials and much more. You will learn to carry out the respective analytics according to international pharmacopoeias (., USP/NF, JP etc.) and according to ISO or GMP standards.
