Your new area of responsibility

VAT is committed to performing and documenting maintenance.

• Ensure and improve technical equipment availability
• Maintain maintenance documentation
• Eliminate occurring safety defects on production equipment
• Contact person for conversions and retrofits on the production equipment
• Participate in the procurement process of new equipment
• Supervision of external service providers
• Rectify operational disruptions, downtime, and safety defects of the production equipment
• Perform inspections and maintenance, as well as control and maintenance rounds
• Assistance and planning of conversions and improvements of the production equipment
• Planning and implementation of conversions, improvements, and retrofits on the production equipment
• Maintain and update technical documentation
• Providing and organizing spare parts
• Active participation in projects
• Role model function in the area of occupational safety and health protection
• Support the team leader in operational day-to-day business
• Support in the administrative induction of new employees

Your experience, skills and talents

• Experience in maintenance, ideally with CNC machines, cleaning systems and hydraulic presses
• Experience in handling operational disruptions on production equipment
• Experience with technical documentation
• Completed training as a Polymechaniker EFZ or in a related mechanical profession
• Forklift and pallet jack license
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and vacuum systems
• Analytical thinking and structured approach in error analysis and troubleshooting
• Independent and reliable way of working as well as teamwork skills
• Good MS Office knowledge
• Respectful, appreciative and open communication
