To strengthen our transport team, we are looking for an engaged personality for our dispatching, effective immediately or by arrangement. With us, you will ensure that our products arrive at their destination reliably and efficiently. You maintain an overview even when short-term re-planning is necessary, and you are an important hub between driving staff, internal departments, and our customers. You know the dynamics of transport logistics and keep a cool head even in hectic situations. You enjoy making decisions, communicate clearly, and enjoy finding solutions together with your team.

Your challenge: ##

• You plan, dispatch, and optimize our nationwide tours and ensure an efficient and cost-conscious use of vehicles and driving staff.
• You lead the driving staff reporting to you and participate in deployment and holiday planning, working time control, as well as training and development of employees.
• In the event of short-term changes, vehicle or personnel failures, as well as extraordinary customer inquiries, you find pragmatic solutions and initiate the necessary measures.
• You ensure compliance with the relevant regulations of transport logistics and the ARV.
• As a central contact person, you work closely with our driving staff, our customers, as well as various internal and external departments.
• You support the organization and management of our vehicle fleet - from maintenance and repairs to inspections and forward-looking fleet planning.
• You record and process transport and standing orders and undertake further organizational and administrative tasks within transport logistics.
• With your networked thinking and your ideas, you help to continuously develop our processes and transport logistics.

Your profile: ##

• You have further training as a planner or a comparable qualification.
• You bring several years of professional experience in dispatching or logistics as well as sound knowledge of tour management.
• Ideally, you already have experience in the leadership and development of employees.
• You have good knowledge of the relevant regulations in transport and the ARV.
• You are reliable, resilient, and flexible, and you are characterized by a quick grasp, decisiveness, and assertiveness.
• Entrepreneurial and networked thinking as well as a strong cost consciousness are among your strengths.
• You communicate confidently in German; knowledge of French, Italian, and English is an advantage.
• You are proficient in using MS Office and bring experience with ERP and dispatching systems. Knowledge of CSB and X4 Fleet as well as an affinity for digital tools such as Power BI or CRM are a plus.
• Good geographical knowledge as well as a good understanding of distances and driving times round off your profile.
• A driver's license of category C is an advantage.
• You are willing to undertake on-call duties and weekend services and bring the necessary flexibility for this.
