Preventive Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)
Main responsibilities:

• you independently and professionally execute the preventive maintenance and repair orders stored in SAP-PM on the production lines
• you report completed maintenance orders fully back in SAP-PM – including working hours, materials used, technical findings, and measures implemented
• you support the Maintenance Coordinator in preparing, triggering, adjusting, and maintaining orders in SAP-PM as well as in work preparation
• you actively contribute your technical expertise to further develop, optimize, and define new maintenance standards together with the AR team
• you support the implementation of Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and FMEAs through your technical expertise and your knowledge of the equipment condition
• you support the introduction and application of Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) – e.g., vibration analysis, temperature monitoring – through data collection and feedback
• you ensure compliance with safety regulations (LoTo, work permits) and quality/hygiene requirements (HACCP, GMP) when performing all maintenance work
• you identify deviations, signs of wear, and potential for improvement during maintenance work and communicate them proactively
• you actively participate in the implementation of IL6S methods (Integrated Lean 6 Sigma): Progressive Maintenance, standardized workflows, and preventive maintenance strategies
• bears the responsibility for the complete and timely processing of maintenance orders on assigned production lines and ensures that all measures are carried out according to plan and standard
• supports the training of production personnel actively and purposefully to ensure the transfer from Preventive Maintenance (PM) to Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and to promote the independent performance of basic activities by production

Qualifications:

• Completed technical training (mechanics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial mechanics, or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial environment, ideally in the food industry
• Practical experience in performing preventive and corrective maintenance work on production equipment
• Knowledge of SAP-PM (order processing, feedback, fault reports); willingness to develop into a Key User
• Understanding of quality and hygiene standards in the food industry (HACCP, GMP)
• Knowledge of occupational safety regulations (LoTo, risk assessments, work permits)
• Willingness to actively participate in the design and further development of maintenance strategies and standards
• PC skills (MS Office, SAP-PM)
• Good knowledge of the German language
• Structured, independent, and careful way of working
• Teamwork skills and high willingness to communicate; ability to contribute technical expertise in an understandable way and to work across departments
