Senior Physician: Doctor Neurology at the neuromuscular center

The University Clinic for Neurology is the largest neurological clinic in Switzerland and offers high-quality treatment in both basic neurological care and highly specialized medicine. Annually, over 30'000 patients are treated on an outpatient basis and approx. 2'000 patients on an inpatient basis. The competence area for neuromuscular diseases at the Inselspital is one of the largest university clinical departments in Switzerland and is dedicated to the investigation and treatment of patients with a broad neuromuscular disease spectrum. As a kose-recognized reference center, we coordinate the care of rare neuromuscular diseases together with other specialist centers and patient organizations. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a specialist doctor: doctor Neurology with a particular interest and sound knowledge in both neuromuscular (incl. electrophysiological) diagnostics as well as the treatment of neuromuscular patients. What to expect <br /> • Versatile patient spectrum in the competence center for neuromuscular diseases • Attractive opportunities for professional development in the field of outpatient neuromuscular patient care. • Proportional activity in another area of the Clinic for Neurology possible by arrangement • Possibility of participation in the field of teaching and research if desired • Assumption of leadership functions over time • A motivated interdisciplinary and interprofessional team of care managers and physiotherapists supports you in your activity <br /> What you bring with you <br /> • Specialist title FMH Neurology or equivalent • Completed electrophysiological ENMG training (SGKN ENMG certificate) with in-depth knowledge and interest in neuromuscular diseases, ideally with longer expertise in this area • Very good German skills in speaking and writing, ideally also good oral French skills.
