Medical technology, as an integral part of the Technology and Innovation Directorate, is responsible for the professional planning, assessment, acquisition, maintenance, and decommissioning of medical technology devices. It evaluates medical technology technologies and devices and documents the device inventory. What awaits you As an electronics technician apprentice, you will handle quality control and materials management. This includes measurements, tests, maintenance work, as well as the commissioning of various devices and installations. You will gain an overview of different specialized groups in electronics. You will learn the service profession, execute orders, and interventions. The first two years of your basic training take place at the ICT Vocational Training Center in Bümpliz. During the 3rd and 4th year of apprenticeship, you will deepen your acquired skills in medical technology at the Hôpital de l'Île. We offer you a multitude of coordination and communication tasks here. You will thus acquire modern, technological, and professional expertise.
