The cantonal social services office fulfills the task of personal social and addiction assistance on behalf of the municipalities and supports people in accessing economic social assistance. To this end, it operates eight regional social services in the regions of the canton.

The regional social service Prättigau/Herrschaft/Fünf Dörfer is responsible for 18 municipalities with a catchment area of 43 000 people.

Social counseling, addiction assistance and financial support

We are looking for the Landquart location, immediately or by arrangement, for a

Social Worker ##

as a substitute during a maternity leave. The position is temporary until 30. June 2027.

Your area of responsibility ###

• Solution- and resource-oriented social counseling of individuals and families in difficult life situations regarding polyvalent issues
• Counseling of recognized refugees and provisionally admitted foreigners regarding linguistic, professional and social integration
• Accessing social insurance benefits as well as economic social assistance
• Cooperation with social authorities and specialized specialist centers
• Other versatile, interesting and responsible activities

This is what we want from you ###

• Completed training as a Social Worker BSc/FH or a degree in a comparable training
• Joy in working with people from different social and/or cultural backgrounds
• High counseling competence as well as sound specialist knowledge in social assistance law and in the social insurance sector
• Sociable, resilient, team player, good communicative, organizational and administrative skills
• Ideally good foreign language skills
• Independent and solution-oriented working
