International Service Technician / Commissioning Specialist Electric Buses 80 - 100% (m/f/d) HESS - The Swiss pioneer in vehicle construction As a leading Swiss company for the development, manufacture, and repair of vehicles and kits, we employ 600 employees in Bellach (SO). In addition to our local production, we support and supply license partners on five continents with our modular system "Co-Bolt". We also offer a comprehensive range of repair and service for vehicles of all kinds (buses, commercial vehicles, passenger cars, campers, etc.). To strengthen our Bus Hot Commissioning Team, we are looking for an experienced practitioner from vehicle or commercial vehicle technology. Experience with electric or trolleybuses is not a prerequisite. If you master the basics of vehicle technology and bring an interest in modern electromobility, we will provide targeted training on our vehicles, systems, and technologies.

Your tasks

• Troubleshooting and diagnosis of traction components and other systems of electric and trolleybuses at the customer site
• Execution of repair work on the entire vehicle
• Accompanying supplier visits at the customer site
• Supervising conversions / modifications from aftersales
• Execution of conversions and modifications in aftersales
• Providing feedback on your field experience to development, production, and aftersales for continuous improvement

Our requirements

• Completed technical training, e.g., as an automotive mechatronics technician specializing in commercial vehicles, agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of practical experience in vehicle, commercial vehicle, agricultural machinery, or construction machinery technology
• Enjoyment of troubleshooting, diagnosis, and independent problem-solving
• Interest in electromobility, high-voltage technology, and modern vehicle systems
• Readiness for a high travel activity of 80--100 % (Switzerland and Europe)
• Your assignments and stays away from home are planable in the long term, and weekends are usually free. This allows you to combine a varied activity at different locations with reliable personal planning.
• Good IT skills
• English skills and other foreign languages are an advantage
