Accountant (Closing-capable)

To support the finance team, our client, a large service company in the Altstätten region, is looking for an experienced accountant 80-100% immediately or by arrangement for around seven months. In this position, you will make a significant contribution to the efficient handling of accounting processes and ensure the correct recording and posting of all business transactions.

Your field of activity with the new employer

• You are responsible for the processing and posting of all ongoing business transactions in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting
• The preparation and execution of payment transactions and the proper reconciliation of accounts are among your main tasks
• You are responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Close exchange with internal departments as well as external contact persons is part of your tasks

Your plus for the new employer

• You have completed commercial training or a comparable qualification with further training in the field of financial accounting
• Through at least three years of professional experience, you have acquired sound knowledge in financial accounting
• You are characterized by a careful and structured way of working and have a strong understanding of numbers
• You work precisely and reliably even under time pressure
