Gardener

The employer is looking for a:

Handyman / Gardener (reported profession)

Tasks:

• daily management of the Center, taking care of the care and maintenance of green spaces, equipment and vehicles
• collaboration with educational staff to ensure an orderly, safe and welcoming environment
• collaboration in the cleaning of the premises, rooms, common areas and external areas.

Secondary tasks:

• management and control of the technical warehouse inventory
• reporting maintenance or replacement needs for equipment and furniture and contact with artisans and workshops
• coordination of vehicle use and transport of people and materials
• support to the kitchen for meal service, washing and tidying up utensils
• collaboration with educational staff in activities related to the daily life of the Center
• raising awareness and accompanying guests regarding order, hygiene and the care of spaces
• participation in team meetings

Requirements:

• practical, reliable and flexible person, capable of working autonomously and, at the same time, integrating into a multidisciplinary context
• interest in working with adolescents from different cultures and backgrounds, accompanied by self-control, impartiality and the ability to manage any conflict situations with balance
• several years of professional experience in the field of gardening
• good knowledge of Italian and at least one other national language
• problem solving skills
• organizational skills and a good level of autonomy
• driving license category B; category D1 constitutes a preferential qualification
• familiarity with the use of the main IT tools
• availability and flexibility in relation to service requirements
• professional training (AFC) as a gardener or forester constitutes a preferential qualification
