Senior DevOps Consultant & Lead

• IT - Software Engineering • St. Gallen • Contracting • Part-time, 80-100% • Immediately - Up to 24 months • DevOps, CI/CD, Stakeholder communication Your tasks: • Development, introduction and control of the DevOps strategy, processes and governance guidelines • Setup, optimization and automation of modern CI/CD pipelines as well as build, test and deployment processes • Introduction and further development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and other automation approaches • Technical consulting, coaching and coordination of development, operations and project teams • Ensuring collaboration between development, operations, architecture and other stakeholders • Definition and monitoring of quality, security and compliance requirements • Evaluation and integration of suitable DevOps tools as well as continuous optimization of the DevOps landscape • Promotion of knowledge exchange and sustainable anchoring of a DevOps culture Your profile: • Higher education in computer science (ETH, FH, HF or comparable) • At least 7 years of experience as DevOps Engineer, Consultant or Lead in complex IT environments • Proven successes in building and introducing DevOps processes in larger programs or transformation projects • In-depth experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions • Several years of practice with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible), Docker as well as Kubernetes or OpenShift • Experience with at least one public cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP) • Knowledge of automation of software and operational processes • Experience in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and good knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) • Very good German and good English language skills
