Your working environment

At the Amt für Wirtschaft und Arbeit we enforce federal laws such as the Arbeitslosenversicherungsgesetz (AVIG), the Arbeitsvermittlungsgesetz (AVG) and the Arbeitsrecht (ArG). The main tasks consist of supervising industry and commerce regarding occupational safety and health protection, advising and mediating job seekers and paying unemployment compensation to entitled persons.
