Tasks ###

• Prototype construction & manufacturing: You produce precision parts for test setups, functional models and prototypes - flexibly according to drawing, sketch or in direct consultation with the development departments
• CNC machining & CAM: You independently set up CNC machining centers (3-5 axes), operate them and create NC programs using a CAM system
• Engineering support: You adapt serial parts and manufacture special tools, clamping devices and gauges for development
• Design for Manufacturing: You advise the developers and hardware engineers on manufacturing issues and actively support finding solutions in the sense of Design to Cost and Design to Manufacturing
• Maintenance: You actively assist in the care and maintenance of our machine park

Profile ###

• Completed vocational training as Polymechanic EFZ or an equivalent training in subtractive manufacturing (technical training)
• Sound practical experience in the independent setting up, operating and programming of CNC machines (using the tool CAM (=Computer Aided Manufacturing))
• Proficient handling of modern PC and software environments
• Fluent German skills
• Experience in the field of 3D printing / additive manufacturing
• Familiarity with the drawing standard ISO 8015
