In our clinic in Luzern, you are responsible for much more than just measurements. You advise patients, perform state-of-the-art diagnostics, and accompany them from the first appointment to the treatment. In doing so, you work closely with our specialist doctors and gain exciting insights into refractive surgery.

Do you want to use your optometric expertise where it really makes a difference? Then we are looking for you as an Optometrist (60%).

Your tasks

• Advising patients on eye laser and lens treatments, taking individual needs into account
• Accompanying patients from the initial examination to the follow-up check
• Performing objective, subjective, and cycloplegic refractions with state-of-the-art technology
• Performing diagnostic examinations as well as referrals to specialist doctors
• Assistance during refractive surgical procedures (e.g., Femto-LASIK, SMILE)

Your profile

• Completed training as a B. Sc. Optometry FH or dipl. Augenoptikerin with experience in the diagnostic field, as well as recognition or professional practice permit as an optometrist in Switzerland.
• Ideally, initial knowledge in refractive surgery
• Experience in refraction as well as confident handling of the slit lamp
• High accuracy, care, and quality awareness
• Joy in dealing with people, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage
