School Social Worker

The municipality of Würenlingen is an attractive residential community for its approximately 5-300 inhabitants. At the Würenlingen school, around 630 students are taught in 31 departments and at two school locations across all three cycles. To complement the school social work team, we are looking for you as a School Social Worker ## Main tasks ### • Advising, supporting, and accompanying children, adolescents, legal guardians, and teachers in psychosocial issues and challenging life situations • Supporting the school in developing and implementing preventive offers • Moderating conflict situations and crisis interventions in classes • Interdisciplinary cooperation with the school management and the teachers in the sense of a positive school culture • Networking and coordination with other services and specialist agencies • Maintaining case documentation and statistics Requirement profile ### • University of Applied Sciences degree in the field of school social work or Social Work, Social Pedagogy, or comparable training • Further training and proven experience in school social work or in counseling children, adolescents, and adults • Further training in systemic work/counseling • Methodological competence in the areas of prevention, mediation, conflict management, and intervention • Intercultural competencies as well as strong communication and negotiation skills • Organizational talent, good self-management, and high resilience Offer ### We offer you an interesting, challenging, and varied activity with a lot of individual responsibility.
