The GVTG is an independent public-law service company based in Frauenfeld. It is managed according to non-profit but economic principles and insures buildings in the Canton of Thurgau against fire and natural hazard damage, promotes fire departments, and deals with damage prevention in the interest of protecting people and property. The statutory mandate of the GVTG is based in particular on the Law on Building Insurance and the Fire Protection Act. To strengthen the prevention team, we are looking for a convincing personality as of immediately or by arrangement as What awaits you with us <br /> • You advise owners and clients, planners, as well as tradespeople on questions of structural, technical, and operational fire protection • You create fire police requirements and permits for construction projects and events • You monitor the implementation of the required fire protection measures using acceptance protocols and deficiency reports • If required, you carry out periodic building inspections of buildings • You participate in commission meetings and discussions • You contribute your expertise to internal and external project groups • You actively contribute to the team, recognize potential for improvement, and support us in continuously developing processes.
