Job mission:

• In addition to their missions as a Bookseller, in the absence of management, the Assistant is the referent and the guarantor of the application of standards and procedures in the functioning of the bookstore
• They organize daily work according to priorities and ensure the control of tasks (administrative, technical, commercial)
• Versatile, they are able to perform all functions. They relay downward information and transmit necessary information to the manager. Proactive in all areas, they make suggestions for improvement.

We are looking for people:

• Sociable, having a sense of commerce and service
• Demonstrating several years of experience in a bookseller position involving purchasing, stock management, and sales responsibilities
• Possessing solid knowledge of the book economic circuit (publishers, wholesalers, distributors)
• Mastering bibliographic research tools and databases (Tite Live, Electre)
• Smiling, warm, methodical and rigorous.
