DEPARTMENT HEAD: Municipal Civil Engineering (f/m/d)

What you can achieve • Taking responsibility for the topic of Municipal Civil Engineering in our Water Supply/Municipal Civil Engineering business unit • Responsible for the maintenance and further development of know-how, standards, and professional project execution within the department • Taking over project management and processing projects for the new construction, maintenance, and renovation of wastewater and drinking water pipelines • Planning, tenders, support of the permit processes as well as construction management and/or senior construction management of projects in the aforementioned department • Independent support and advice for our customers in the Bern region • Collaboration with our project engineers, site managers, and draftsmen, exchange with colleagues within the entire company • Supporting the business unit manager in acquisition, the training and further education of team members, and quality assurance Your competencies are • Completed education ETH / FH, preferably in the field of construction or as a technician (site manager, construction technician, construction supervisor) with additional training • Initial experience in a leadership position desired • Network contacts in the construction industry of the Bern region are an advantage • You enjoy working in a team, are open and committed, and enjoy passing on your knowledge internally
