The Service des contributions (SCCO) is looking for a Legal Counsel SCCO236 The SCCO, which has approximately 150 employees, brings together entities responsible for taxing and collecting various taxes. The legal entity of the department has the main mission of providing legal support to the entire department. It also prepares observations within the framework of appeal procedures before the courts. It processes exemption and assessment procedures. It drafts draft laws and regulations pertaining to cantonal tax legislation. Your missions As a legal counsel within the service des contributions, you process assessment procedures for natural and legal persons, as well as exemption procedures for legal persons. The investigation of these files as well as the drafting of decisions form the rhythm of your daily life, as do your exchanges with taxpayers and the various cantonal tax authorities. As part of appeal procedures to the Tribunal cantonal and the Tribunal fédéral, you are responsible for drafting observations. Your expertise also benefits the department staff, whom you support in resolving legal issues raised during the analysis of their files. Furthermore, you participate in the development and updating of internal and external directives regarding assessment and exemption, as well as in internal training. Your profile You hold a master's degree in law and have a particular interest in taxation. Comfortable with your interlocutors and endowed with an analytical and synthetic spirit, you know how to both make and take responsibility for your decisions. You have perfect command of spelling and the French language as well as standard IT tools. Autonomous, you are distinguished by your professional conscience and demonstrate initiative within the respect of assigned competencies. Precision and seriousness characterize your work, even during periods of high demand. Knowledge of German represents an asset for this position.
