Job Description In this position, you are responsible for the holistic management of our application environments. These include areas from software development (automation) as well as from version control. Typical examples for this would be Rockwell Automation, Copadata Zenon, Beckhoff TwinCAT, or Perforce Helix Core. You ensure stable, efficient, and user-friendly operation of the applications by regularly installing and rolling out updates and patches. This also includes the creation and maintenance of documentation. In addition, you act as a competent contact person in global 2nd-level support and work closely with internal specialist departments, IT, and external partners and service providers. You analyze requirements, develop technical solutions, and independently implement changes and optimizations to drive the digitalization and efficiency of engineering processes. In license management, you record requirements and derive strategic measures from them to optimize license usage and administration. Last but not least, you manage a global key-user structure and establish common processes. Qualifications You have a completed degree in computer science, electrical and automation engineering, or a similar field. Alternatively, you bring comparable vocational training with relevant practical experience. You are experienced in the support and administration of software applications, ideally in a technical area / engineering environment. Sound knowledge in the area of Windows operating systems, network technology, and virtualization. Confident handling of version control systems (e.g., Git), fault analysis, troubleshooting, and end-user support - both personally and via remote access. Sound knowledge in software distribution and automation, especially with PowerShell (Intune). You bring strong analytical skills as well as very good German and English skills. Your strong communication skills as well as a structured way of working with a high service orientation characterize you.
