Deployed across several sites, the Institution de Lavigny consists of a neurological hospital with outpatient consultations on two sites, a housing department for adults with disabilities, with an intellectual impairment or a physical problem, a specialized school, and a workshops and vocational training sector.

The specialized school department "La Passerelle" welcomes children from 6 to 18 years old with learning and development difficulties. It ensures global support for the child, including school education, therapeutic interventions and follow-ups, and educational monitoring, with the possibility of weekday residential stays and after-school care times. For our weekday residential care which welcomes 14 young people of school age, and our after-school sector, we are looking for:

Whose main mission will consist of offering educational support to children/adolescents, promoting the link between school life, leisure times, and family life. The activity is divided between support in weekday residential care and the animation of after-school activities (sports, homework, cultural activities, etc.).

In close collaboration with families and the professional network, you will contribute to the development and implementation of an individualized project adapted to each young person, within the framework of an intervention aimed at learning autonomy and self-determination, and which relies on the resources and skills of the young people and their families.

As an experienced person, capable of managing projects, you will know how to propose playful and fulfilling activities, whether group or individual. You will know how to put into perspective and reflection a systemic and multidisciplinary approach based on respect for the responsibility, autonomy, and vulnerability of each person. Dynamic, communicator, you possess a marked interest in working in an interdisciplinary team.

The working hours are annualized and distributed from 7 am to 10 pm, from Monday noon to Friday noon. Services are closed during the Vaud school holidays.

We require:

• A recognized ES or HES social educator diploma,
• A valid driver's license,
• A pronounced interest in the field of special pedagogy and learning disabilities,
