Your main activities The Manufacturing Methodology Engineer plays a central role at the interface between project teams, assembly, and the Supply Chain. They provide technical expertise in managing and controlling costs and deadlines per project for the Supply Chain phase. The goal is the satisfaction of internal customers (project teams) and, consequently, the satisfaction of end customers. • Ensure the feasibility of parts to be manufactured (process, materials, treatments, tolerances) in terms of quality, deadlines, costs. • Provide Supply Chain expertise to project teams during the design phase in order to anticipate quality, deadline, and cost risks. • Coordinate project time milestones with the Supply Chain. • Ensure the management of bills of materials and requirements in the ERP (MCO). • Choice of manufacturing processes according to the part typology. • Support for "make or buy" decision-making. • Ensure the creation of operating sequences. • Ensure the monitoring of budgets concerning critical parts. • Ensure the monitoring of Supply Chain priorities & blocking points in collaboration with partner teams. • Provide support for the processing of certain Non-Conformities. • Provide technical expertise concerning internal & external manufacturing processes. • Participate in the improvement of Supply Chain processes. Your Profile • Initial technical CFC training in Mechanics or Electro-technology (or training deemed equivalent) • Additional higher education to the initial training (Bachelor HES, Technicien ES, Brevet Expert Production, Brevet Fédéral Agent de Processus). • Very good knowledge of mechanics and machining and/or electro-technology. (3 years minimum in a similar industry). • Languages: Mastery (oral and written) of French and good knowledge of English. Other language: German or Italian is an advantage • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite tools, particular attention to Excel. • Previous expertise in the use of an ERP, PLM (SAP, Inventor, Vault is an advantage).
