At the Strassenverkehrsamt des Kantons Zürich, around 460 employees work at nine locations. Our task is road safety in the Canton of Zürich. We are responsible for the registration and inspection of vehicles and boats, for driving tests, for administrative measures, and for the collection of traffic duties. For our Technical Information at the Zürich-Albisgütli location, we are looking for a clerk as of 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.

Your tasks ###

• Clarifying and answering inquiries about legal regulations and technical requirements via telephone, email, and at the counter
• Checking vehicle documents and technical documentation
• Adjusting vehicle registration certificates and completing various administrative tasks

What you bring with you ###

• Completed technical training in the automotive industry (automotive specialist or similar)
• Professional customer service on the telephone, at the counter, and via email
• Good user knowledge of the MS Office suite as well as willingness to learn new applications
• Proficient German skills in speaking and writing, foreign language skills are an advantage
