To strengthen the seniors pole of its solidarity and social cohesion service, as part of a replacement, the City is looking for a: Social worker in individual social action (Fixed-term contract from November to December 2026 at 60%, with possibility of renewal) Your mission: Within a multidisciplinary team of 40 people, you will ensure, with your three direct colleagues, the reception, evaluation and analysis of the situation of seniors requesting communal social support. Depending on requests, you will be led to orient, advise, support seniors in their administrative procedures with a view to improving their situation and/or access to their rights. You will be responsible for co-constructing, with the persons, the strategy to be put in place and will evaluate the relevance of delivering financial benefits in compliance with communal directives. Your main tasks: * listen to, support and accompany in an individualized manner the seniors freely requesting the service; * analyze and evaluate requests; * perform certain follow-ups at home; * co-construct with the persons the action strategy with a view to a stabilization of their situation; * carry out fund requests, files for the supplementary benefits service and other administrative acts; * collaborate with colleagues from the municipal administration as well as with the Genevan socio-sanitary network. Your profile: * HETS diploma, social service orientation desired or equivalent; * professional experience in the social field desired; * good knowledge of the senior public and the Genevan socio-sanitary network; * ability to work autonomously, in a team and in a network; * writing ease and mastery of office tools; * ability to take initiatives and high organizational skills; * developed interpersonal skills, empathy and diplomacy; * other languages besides French, an asset.
