Job Description Your main mission will consist of ensuring the operational management of the machining workshop in order to guarantee the achievement of production objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs and deadlines, organizing human and technical resources, ensuring compliance with the manufacturing schedule and developing a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Your responsibilities: Production Management • Plan and coordinate workshop activity • Ensure compliance with the production schedule and customer priorities • Optimize the load and capacity of production means • Guarantee the availability of necessary equipment and resources • Monitor workshop performance indicators • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions Team Management • Supervise, animate and unite production teams • Organize assignments based on skills and production needs • Manage schedules, leave, absences and replacements • Conduct annual interviews and performance evaluations • Participate in the recruitment and integration of new employees • Develop versatility and team skills • Guarantee a positive and constructive social climate Quality • Guarantee the application of quality procedures in the workshop • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and technical specifications • Analyze non-conformities and drive action plans • Participate in quality improvement processes • Collaborate with quality, methods and industrialization departments • Ensure control of monitoring means and self-checks Management of Production Means • Supervise CNC milling and EDM activities • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment • Coordinate preventive and curative maintenance interventions • Participate in investment choices and technical improvements • Guarantee the availability of tools, tool holders and consumables Safety and Environment • Enforce safety rules and internal procedures • Identify risky situations and implement preventive actions • Participate in accident and incident analyses • Ensure compliance with environmental instructions Continuous Improvement • Drive Lean Manufacturing and 5S processes • Propose and manage productivity improvement projects • Reduce setup times, scrap and machine downtime • Participate in the digitalization and optimization of processes Qualifications • Coming from a technical background in mechanics, micromechanics or polymechanics, you have significant experience of at least 5 years in managing a CNC machining workshop, ideally in the fields of milling and EDM. You master the issues related to the manufacturing of precision parts and possess good knowledge of industrial production processes • Rigorous and results-oriented, you know how to plan and organize workshop activities to guarantee compliance with deadlines, resource optimization and equipment performance. Your ease in managing priorities allows you to make decisions quickly while maintaining a high level of demand regarding quality • A recognized manager, you support the development of your employees' skills, promote versatility and ensure a positive and motivating work climate.
