Job Description

Main Mission

Ensure the operational management of the Decoration workshop in order to guarantee the achievement of production objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and deadlines. Organize human and technical resources, ensure compliance with the manufacturing schedule, and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Your Responsibilities

Production Management

• Plan and coordinate workshop activity.
• Ensure compliance with the production schedule and customer priorities.
• Optimize the load and capacity of production means, both human and machine.
• Guarantee the availability of necessary equipment and resources.
• Monitor workshop performance indicators.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Team Management

• Supervise, lead, and unite production teams.
• Organize assignments based on skills and production needs.
• Manage schedules, leave, absences, and replacements.
• Conduct annual interviews and performance evaluations.
• Participate in the recruitment and integration of new employees.
• Develop the versatility and skills of the teams.
• Guarantee a positive and constructive social climate.

Quality

• Guarantee the application of quality procedures in the workshop.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and technical specifications.
• Analyze non-conformities and manage action plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with quality, methods, and industrialization departments.
• Ensure control of monitoring means and self-checks.

Production Means Management

• Supervise decoration and washing activities.
• Ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
• Coordinate preventive and curative maintenance interventions.
• Participate in investment choices and technical improvements.
• Guarantee the availability of tools, tool holders, and consumables.

Safety and Environment

• Enforce safety rules and internal procedures.
• Identify risky situations and implement preventive actions.
• Participate in accident and incident analyses.
• Ensure compliance with environmental instructions.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Propose and manage productivity improvement projects.
• Reduce time losses, scrap, and overconsumption.
• Participate in the digitalization and optimization of processes.
• Lead active supervision sessions.

Qualifications

• From a higher technical training background, you justify a significant experience of at least 5 years in managing a decoration workshop, ideally in the fields of hand anglage and high watchmaking decoration techniques. You master the issues related to the manufacture of precision and aesthetic parts and possess a good knowledge of industrial production processes.
• Rigorous and results-oriented, you know how to plan and organize workshop activities to guarantee compliance with deadlines, optimization of resources, and the performance of equipment and employees. Your ease in managing priorities allows you to make decisions quickly while maintaining a high level of demand regarding quality.
• A recognized manager, you support the development of your employees' skills, promote versatility, and ensure the maintenance of a positive and motivating work climate. Your sense of communication and your field-based approach allow you to collaborate effectively with the methods, quality, maintenance, and logistics departments.
• Possessing an analytical and continuous improvement mindset, you are a force for proposal to optimize processes, reduce non-quality costs, and improve workshop productivity.
