The Social and Peer Counseling department provides comprehensive support to people with spinal cord injuries in all regions of the country. The consultations take place at our location in Nottwil, partly in clinics, at the clients' homes or by phone. We advise on questions related to social insurance, finances, living situation, employment or personal issues. Part of your job also includes caring for clients from Ticino, which is why good Italian language skills are required. To expand our Social Work team, we are looking for an empathetic and professionally experienced person. These are your tasks • Psychosocial counseling and support for people with spinal cord injuries or similar diagnoses and their relatives • Clarification of claims in the area of social insurance and ensuring the economic basis of existence • Support in creating and submitting applications to social insurance and foundations • Accompaniment in challenging life situations and change processes (e.g. professional reorientation, separation, transition to AHV age) • Promotion of the autonomy of clients • Interdisciplinary collaboration with involved offices and partner organizations • Writing specialist articles for our own media This characterizes you • You have completed training in Social Work FH/BSC with corresponding professional experience • You have in-depth knowledge in the area of social insurance • You design your work flexibly and independently - also in private settings at your clients' homes • You like to bring your knowledge and experience into projects • Your German is stylistically secure, and you also have very good Italian language skills, which you use confidently in your daily work • You appreciate working in an interdisciplinary team Your contact person Questions about the application process Beatrice Dittli HR responsible +41 41 939 53 46 Questions about the position Daniela Vozza Department head Life Counseling 041 939 54 04
