Healthcare Specialist in training (m/f/d)

The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrisches Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the extended basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the education department under the leadership of Frau Sarah Tihanyi, Frau Sandra Widmer is looking for a Healthcare Specialist in training for the location Psychiatrisches Zentrum in Herisau as of 01.08.2027.

Your tasks

• Supporting and accompanying patients in daily activities, in establishing and maintaining daily structure, in daily personal hygiene and in demanding situations
• Carrying out delegated, therapeutic and diagnostic activities such as monitoring vital signs, blood collection, preparing and administering medication, etc.
• Carrying out administrative tasks
• Cleaning and disinfection work, as well as housekeeping and kitchen work
