Department Manager in Production (m/f/d)

What you do * Operational department management: You directly lead and coordinate a key production department with several teams (including shift operation). * Direct deputy to the Production Manager: You work at eye level with the Production Manager, represent them fully in their absence, and actively support the strategic orientation of the entire manufacturing process. * Future project site expansion: You contribute significantly to the planning, construction, and later operation of our new, additional production site. * Leadership & development: You promote, motivate, and further develop your team leaders and employees and ensure efficient resource and shift planning. * Process and CIP management: You secure and further develop the production processes (quality, on-time delivery, occupational safety, and Lean Management) in a technically demanding environment. What you bring * Sound technical training: You have a basic technical education, for example in electrical, mechanical, or production engineering, as well as qualified further training at the level of Techniker HF, Bachelor, Professional Bachelor, or Master/Meister, or a comparable qualification. Ideally with a focus on production, business processes, or industrial engineering. * Leadership experience & ambition: You bring several years of demonstrable leadership experience in an industrial production plant -- ideally in shift operation -- and want to take the next step towards expanded plant management. * Technical understanding: Experience in high voltage and insulation technology, in the construction of busbars and/or bushings, or in a comparably demanding manufacturing technology is a great advantage. * Doer mentality: You like to roll up your sleeves, think entrepreneurially, and convince through quality awareness, assertiveness, and strong organizational skills. * Change competence: You see changes as an opportunity. The active co-shaping and construction of a new production site motivates you particularly. * Communication strength: You communicate clearly and bindingly, lead at eye level, and know how to inspire employees for common goals. * Languages: You have business fluent German skills in speaking and writing. Good English skills are an advantage.
