Automation Technician in mechanical engineering

Your tasks:

• Independent troubleshooting and fault rectification on modern machine, plant and control systems
• Analysis, optimization and further development of PLC programs and automated production processes
• Execution of maintenance work as well as periodic inspections of electrical installations, machines and production plants
• Collaboration on plant expansions, technical improvement projects and commissioning
• Ensuring high plant availability in a demanding production environment
• Support in production monitoring as well as continuous process optimization

Your qualifications:

• Completed vocational training (EFZ) as Automation Technician, Electronics Technician, Electrical Installer or comparable training
• Professional experience in automation, control or operational technology
• Knowledge of PLC controls and industrial automation
• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Experience in a regulated environment (GMP, Pharma, Food or Medical Technology) is an advantage
• Enjoyment of modern technology, complex plants and continuous improvement processes
