The Traffic and Urban Space business unit is being reorganized. We are looking for a head for the department Short-term Urban Space Enhancements as of 1 October 2026 or by arrangement. Tasks ## • You will lead the department Short-term Urban Space Enhancements personnel-wise, organizationally, and professionally with 5-7 employees and continuously develop it. • As a member of the Traffic and Urban Space management team, you will develop the multi-year planning, prioritize ongoing tasks, topics and projects, and further develop the professional attitude of the business unit. • Together with your employees, you will implement short-term urban space enhancements (neighborhood blocks, Velo-Express projects, Programm 1 Stadtgrün, enhancement of encounter zones, etc.) in the sense of the Strategy Urban Space and Mobility 2040. You know and use the scope for action as well as the procedures necessary for their implementation. • You will prioritize and coordinate the short-term urban space enhancements with ongoing planning and road construction projects, as well as review and communicate their impact. • You will represent the Strategy Urban Space and Mobility 2040 as well as the interests of the Tiefbauamt in various professional, political, and other exchange bodies.
