Assistant Physician: External Year Neurology

The University Clinic for Neurology is the largest neurological clinic in Switzerland and offers high-quality treatment in both basic neurological care and highly specialized medicine (Stroke Center, Center for Movement Disorders (including deep brain stimulation), Sleep-Wake-Epilepsy Center (including pre-epilepsy-surgical assessment). Annually, over 30,000 patients are treated on an outpatient basis and approx. 2,000 patients are treated on an inpatient basis.
What awaits you
The rotation position as part of an external year in neurology offers high interdisciplinarity with many interesting focal points and frequent clinical pictures such as headaches, dizziness, epilepsies, strokes, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, neuropsychosomatics or sleep disorders. Depending on interests, a placement is possible optionally or in combination in the neurological outpatient clinic, the emergency ward in combination with the Stroke Center, the neurological inpatient ward or in neurorehabilitation. Sound clinically oriented neurological advanced training is guaranteed within the framework of the rotation. You will receive insight into the most important interfaces, especially to Internal Medicine as well as Psychiatry. Further information can also be found on our homepage.
What you bring with you
You have at least one year of experience in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry or Pediatrics or Neurosurgery, are committed and a team player. [Fren]ch language skills are desired.
