For an owner-managed architecture firm in Basel, we are looking for a personality who supports residential construction, remodeling, and renovation from the study to the execution. The office works on new builds and renovations, vertical extensions, public and private assignments, as well as studies and competitions in the Basel region. The range of services includes architecture, urban design, interior design, and scenography, as well as feasibility, design, project planning including cost and schedule planning, as well as construction management.

You process projects independently or in a small team, develop variants, carry projects through permit and tender processes, and supervise execution on-site. Design care, constructive certainty in existing buildings, and the willingness to take on responsibility in a manageable office are required.

Your tasks

• Processing of residential construction, remodeling, and renovation projects across several SIA phases
• Design, preliminary project, and construction project including cost estimation and schedule planning
• Participation in studies, competitions, and urban design tasks
• Building permit application, coordination of specialist planners, tender, and award
• Construction management and quality control on the construction site
• Direct contact with clients, authorities, and contractors

Your profile

• Degree as an Architect ETH/FH/HS or equivalent qualification, alternatively experienced Project Management / Construction Management Structural Engineering
• Practice in SIA phases 2 - 5, ideally also construction management
• Experience with residential construction, remodeling, and renovation in the Swiss context
• Proficient CAD skills and very good German skills
• Workload 80 - 100 %, start date by agreement
