Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Conduct extradition procedures • Draft legal opinions and appeals to the Federal Criminal Court and the Federal Supreme Court • Handle national and foreign requests for search, transfer of convicted persons, as well as prosecution and execution of criminal penalties by substitution • Provide advice to national and foreign judicial, criminal prosecution, and penal execution authorities, as well as police authorities • Draft documents predominantly in German <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • Master's degree in law with attorney's license, LL.M. or doctorate • Experience in criminal prosecution acquired in a court or a law firm • Ability to work independently, communication skills and drafting talent • Decision-making skills • Excellent active knowledge of two official languages, passive knowledge of a third and of English • Swiss citizenship <br /> In summary In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute on the front line to the security of Switzerland within the framework of international criminal prosecution! The Extradition sector is the reference point in Switzerland for all issues concerning extradition (incl. search requests, arrest, execution, appeals), prosecution and execution of criminal penalties by substitution as well as the transfer of convicted persons and collaborates closely with Swiss and foreign authorities.
