Skilled Worker, 100% The Office for Transport and Civil Engineering is responsible for the further development and preservation of value of the cantonal roads and paths as well as their operational maintenance. It plans and orders public regional and local transport and approves traffic measures on municipal roads. The goal is to ensure performance-appropriate, safe and sustainable transport mobility in the canton. For the Road Maintenance department, we are looking for a Skilled Worker, 100% immediately or by arrangement at the Wangen bei Olten location. Your responsibility As a member of a team, you maintain the cantonal road area. You carry out general maintenance work such as road cleaning, green care of verges, flower beds and embankments and perform smaller construction works on the road infrastructure. The professional operation of various vehicles and devices is part of your core tasks. You perform winter service work and are part of the on-call organization. Your profile You have completed training as a Landscape Gardener EFZ, Forest Technician EFZ, Road Builder EFZ, Specialist in Facility Management EFZ with a focus on municipal services or a comparable manual training. You bring several years of professional experience, ideally you also have experience in operating agricultural vehicles. You possess a driving license of category BE.
