Your responsibility :

• Control management of members of the army and civil protection using various databases
• Summoning participants for training courses, orientation days and recruitments
• Processing leave and service postponement requests
• Providing information and advice to those liable for fitness for service and military service

Your background :

• Completed vocational training in the commercial sector with several years of professional experience or equivalent training
• Good knowledge of the army and/or civil protection, preferably having completed military or protection service
• Teamwork skills, flexibility and independent working
• Excellent knowledge of the German language in speaking and writing
• Good knowledge in handling MS-Office products

Amt für Militär und Bevölkerungsschutz (AMB)

The Amt für Militär und Bevölkerungsschutz (AMB) is an operational, training and administrative organization. The AMB is a department with around 50 employees within the Security Directorate of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft.
The AMB is responsible for the operations of the civil protection deployment unit, the training in civil protection as well as of personnel and officers in civil protection. Administrative activities include, among other things, army tasks on behalf of the Confederation or the operation of the Kaserne Liestal. Furthermore, operational and prevention planning is created in the AMB, and logistics and administration services are provided.
