Test Engineer (m/f/d) 100%

We are expanding our R&D team at This AG – a company of the Rayner Group! The position as Test Engineer offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative environment and to contribute to the development of our phako technologies, which make a real difference for patients all over the world.

Main tasks:

• Development of test concepts and strategies involving hardware test benches, mechanical fixtures, electronic circuits, and software verification to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Definition of test protocols and test plans as well as determination of suitable sample sizes and acceptance criteria based on risk management, confidence levels, and historical data.
• Participation in cross-functional design reviews and execution of rigorous Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and system validations.
• Thorough analysis of test data and evaluation metrics based on predefined acceptance criteria, performing root cause analyses for anomalies, and creating summary reports for verification.
• Documentation and verification according to the guidelines for the development of medical devices

Your profile:

• Education/Qualification: Electronics technician, HF, university of applied sciences or university degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or computer science
• Experience in the field of automated testing and in the corresponding programming languages (Python, LabView, …)
• Ideally experience in development projects (programming in C/C++, measurement technology, embedded systems, microcontrollers, medical technology)
• Languages: German and English, spoken and written
