We are looking for additional reinforcement for the Vogtsrain childcare team as of 17.08.2026 or by arrangement (fixed-term until 02.10.2026). Due to a 1:1 setting, the childcare team is being expanded on a fixed-term basis until the autumn holidays. Tasks ## As a childcare specialist, you will accompany the kindergarten children four days a week and support the childcare team in daily care routines.   Your working hours are as follows: • Monday: 12:00-15:30 • Tuesday and Thursday: 12:00-17:00 • Friday: 12:00-13:30 You will work in an open-minded and committed team consisting of the after-school care management, childcare specialists, apprentices, and school assistants. We will be happy to discuss further information about the position and tasks in a personal interview with the Head of Childcare.   • You will work in the lunch/evening after-school care Hönggermarkt with children of kindergarten age. • You will help shape the school-based care and the leisure activities of the children. • In consultation with the team, you will occasionally take over the 1:1 care of a kindergarten child. Profile ## • Professional experience in childcare (after-school care, nursery, residential home) • Joy in collaborating with teaching and childcare staff • High flexibility and resilience as well as very good teamwork and communication skills • Solution-oriented basic attitude in daily work and in dealing with challenges • Humor and a positive basic attitude • Very good German language skills • Apprenticeship as a Childcare Specialist (Fachfrau/Fachmann Betreuung) or Toddler Educator (Kleinkindererzieher/in) EFZ or an equivalent qualification in the pedagogical field Important: All foreign diplomas and professional certificates must mandatory include a Swiss equivalence confirmation.
