The Haus für Betagte is located in the heart of Basel and offers older people a home in company with plenty of room for independence. The central location in the middle of the city is highly appreciated by residents and guests. 58 residents live across 5 residential areas in bright and friendly rooms with a lot of privacy, combined with around-the-clock care. A versatile range of activities and events ensures a varied and fulfilling everyday life.

To strengthen our teams, we are looking for, starting immediately/by arrangement, an

Activation Specialist HF 70% - 100%, Haus für Betagte an der Sternengasse

In this exciting role, the following tasks await you:

• Developing sustainable, trusting relationships with residents
• Co-designing a varied, structured, as well as process-oriented and resident-oriented activation and daily life design
• Planning, organizing, and implementing individual and group offers for our residents
• Organizing and implementing events and excursions for our residents
• Creative design and responsibility for seasonal decoration in the house
• Overall ensuring individual and holistic activation and the maintenance and promotion of individual resident resources
• Maintaining professional and regular documentation via RaiSoft
• Co-developing quality within the activation team based on current knowledge
• Active interdisciplinary cooperation and communication

What you bring with you:

• Training as Activation Specialist HF or comparable tertiary degree
• Experience in activation
• Professional experience in dealing with older and people in need of care
• Current gerontopsychological knowledge and practical skill
• Good IT skills
• Joy and the will for interdisciplinary exchange
• Interest in interdisciplinary exchange
• High social competence, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
• Organizational talent and creativity in offer design
• Independent, flexible, and team-oriented personality
