Portrait of the school/institution ### The municipality of Seftigen is located in the upper Gürbetal. The village lies on the end moraine hill of the Belpberg, nestled between the mountain forest to the north and the Widerhub to the south. Seftigen extends from the Wyssbach to the Allmend area. The municipality has an area of around 4 km2 and is located at 578 meters above sea level. Neighboring municipalities are Uetendorf, Burgistein, Gurzelen and Noflen. Politically, Seftigen belongs to the administrative district of Thun. The municipality is located on the S4 and S44 railway lines with a direct connection to Thun and Bern. The distance to Thun is approximately 10 km and to Bern approximately 25 km. The Thun-Nord motorway access is reachable in about 5 minutes by car. At the Seftigen school, around 180 students are taught in 10 classes. They are divided into 2 kindergarten, 6 primary and 2 multi-grade Realklassen. The individual support of students takes place in team teaching, group setting or individually. Goals are defined in close cooperation with the class team and implemented together. The MR teacher creates support plans, conducts learning level assessments and is responsible for documentation. Exchange with parents as well as external specialist agencies takes place regularly. Requirements ### Training in school special education / as a teacher or experience in the field of IF Great interest and joy in integrative support. Collaboration with the class team. Cooperation with team, parents and specialist agencies. Participation in conferences and further training.
