Initial situation ###

Are you familiar with air freight and want to use your expertise specifically? For an established company, we are looking for an experienced freight forwarding agent or an experienced freight forwarding agent with a focus on air freight.

In this role, you will organize and coordinate international air freight transports from A to Z, be in direct exchange with airlines, partners and customers and ensure that shipments are processed on time and smoothly. In doing so, you will work closely with international contacts and maintain an overview even with complex transport processes.

Tasks ###

• independent checking and assessment of incoming orders
• coordinating air freight transports incl. pre- and post-carriage
• processing of transports incl. price calculation and inquiry
• obtaining handling instructions from customers
• checking customs documents and certificates of origin
• creating the electronic customs declaration
• obtaining goods transport insurance policies
• close telephone and written customer support
• billing of transport services

Requirements ###

• ideally successfully completed commercial training in the field of international freight forwarding logistics
• sound professional experience of about three years in the processing of air freight transports (training period will also be considered)
• good knowledge of Incoterms and DGR regulations

IT ###

MS-Office - good knowledge

Languages ###

German: m+s very good
English: m+s good
any other national language is an advantage
