The Age, Care & Addiction Help department reviews and grants permits for individuals or institutions to work in the long-term and Spitex sectors, is responsible for implementing the care initiative, and is in charge of the cantonal addiction help coordination office. For the Age, Care & Addiction Help department, we are looking for a Specialist in Age and Care, 80% at the Solothurn location, starting immediately or by agreement. Your responsibilities You will approve and supervise the operation and provision of services by social institutions in the field of age and care (primarily in Spitex organizations) and check compliance with regulations and quality according to the Social and Health Act. The enforcement of cantonal legal training and further education obligations for non-university health professions and federal legal training obligations falls within your area of responsibility. You will advise people with care and support needs and their relatives, as well as sponsors and home managers. The technical processing and evaluation of complaints, as well as the preparation of corresponding decisions in cooperation with the legal department, are also part of your responsibilities. You will negotiate the provision of social services with institutions, create service contracts, and control and evaluate the provision of agreed services. Your profile You have a Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing and have several years of nursing experience in the Spitex sector. You are familiar with the various professional groups and institutions in the healthcare system and have experience working on projects with interdisciplinary partners.
