Nestled in the heart of the Valais Alps at 1’400 m altitude, the Leukerbad Clinic benefits from an exceptional natural setting and unique thermal water at 51 °C. As a rehabilitation clinic, we welcome patients for inpatient and outpatient hospitalization in a high-level care environment.
As part of the strengthening of our technical service, we are looking for a versatile, autonomous, and solution-oriented maintenance technician wishing to actively contribute to the smooth running and safety of our establishment.

YOUR MISSIONS

Within our technical service, you contribute to the smooth running, safety, and maintenance of the buildings, technical installations, and outdoor spaces of the Clinic.
You will notably be required to:

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings and technical installations.
• Carry out first-level work in electricity, plumbing, locksmithing, painting, carpentry, and small repairs.
• Control and maintain technical installations, notably the therapeutic pools and their equipment.
• Intervene in rooms, care areas, sports rooms, and rehabilitation spaces, with discretion and in respect for the patients' environment.
• Participate in the maintenance of outdoor spaces and the snow removal of the site.
• Identify malfunctions, perform interventions within your scope of competence, and ensure follow-up with specialized companies when necessary.
• Participate in preventive maintenance, the monitoring of interventions, and the management of equipment.
• Provide on-call service and emergency interventions, according to the organization of the service.
• Collaborate daily with the technical manager, the various services of the Clinic, and external providers.
• Complete the documents and tools for monitoring interventions, notably CLINTEC.

YOUR PROFILE

We are primarily looking for a reliable, versatile, pragmatic, and solution-oriented person, possessing:

• A professional training in a technical field, maintenance, electricity, plumbing, or training deemed equivalent.
• Good practical knowledge in building maintenance.
• Versatile skills in electricity, plumbing, locksmithing, carpentry, and small repairs.
• Notions in the field of water treatment and control of swimming pools constitute an asset.
• A good ability to diagnose a problem and find an adapted solution.
• Autonomy, reactivity, and a good sense of organization.
• A good team spirit and a developed sense of service.
• A professional and respectful attitude towards patients, collaborators, and providers.
• A good command of French; German constitutes an asset.

The position also involves respect for safety procedures, the limits of one's skills, and recourse to specialists when necessary.
