Job Description ##

At the head of this establishment of approximately 800 students, you will lead all pedagogical, administrative, technical, and financial activities in order to offer a quality and caring learning environment. You will unite your teams around student success, while ensuring their professional fulfillment. Representing the establishment, you will engage in promoting its reputation with partners and the school community, by strengthening and developing relations useful to the fulfillment of its missions.

Responsibilities ##

• Implement cantonal and/or federal policies regarding teaching within the establishment.
• Lead the establishment and coordinate all its activities and services, guaranteeing a fluid and structured internal organization as well as an optimal use of resources.
• Ensure the quality of teaching and supervise its distribution, ensuring student monitoring as well as compliance with programs and current legislation.
• Ensure the adaptation of the establishment's services and the maintenance of an establishment culture.
• Recruit, support, and unite the pedagogical, administrative, and technical teams; encourage the development of their skills within the limits of the established framework.
• Ensure the dissemination of information to guarantee clear communication and permanent dialogue.
• Elaborate and monitor the budget, define priorities, and guarantee reliable accounting management.
• Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and renewal of equipment and infrastructure.
• Promote the image of the establishment and develop its integration into its economic, social, and academic environment, notably by participating in various conferences, commissions, and working groups.

Qualifications ##

• University Master's degree or a title deemed equivalent in a field taught at the post-compulsory level, supplemented by a pedagogical title for teaching at the secondary II level (or experience deemed equivalent).
• Confirmed managerial experience of several years, acquired in the field of teaching.
• Proven managerial skills, excellent communication and ease in conflict management, capacity for analysis and synthesis, openness to change and innovative projects, capacity to develop an establishment culture.
• The CAS in administration and management of training institutions (FORDIF) is desired and will be required in the event it has not been completed prior to taking office.
