• 18 June 2026 • 50% • Indefinite duration • Possible • Rue de la Grotte 2, 1003 Lausanne Present in three cantons, l-HEMU - Haute École de Musique offers multidisciplinary teaching in classical music, jazz and contemporary music, at university level (Bachelor/Master), to 520 student·s of more than 45 different nationalities and is part of the Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale (HES-SO). We are recruiting for the position of : HES Scientific Assistant - Research and Innovation Support at 50% ### Your missions l-HEMU R&I Activities • Support the research director in all her activities and contribute to the fluidity of interactions between R&I activities and the various services of l-HEMU • Advise researcher·s in the development of their funding applications (financial structuring, methodological framework, partnerships) and in the preparation of their final reports • Contribute to the programming, organization, dissemination and monitoring of public activities related to research projects • In collaboration with the communication service of l-HEMU, ensure the update of the mission's communication tools (dedicated web pages, agenda, Newsletter, etc.) • In collaboration with La Manufacture, design the programming for the IRMAS lab "music, performing arts and society" Administration • Develop and maintain planning tools and various dashboards necessary for monitoring l-HEMU's R&I activities (research indicators) • Ensure the administrative monitoring of R&I projects (contracts, budget monitoring, links with HR and finance services) • Ensure the administrative monitoring of doctoral student·s supported by l-HEMU (invoices, expense reports, interim reports) • Participate in the drafting of annual activity reports (HEMU-CL Foundation annual report, DGES report, IRMAS report) Your profile • Master's in music, arts or humanities, a doctorate is a plus • Strong interest in music or arts research and in knowledge sharing • Good understanding of the challenges and mechanisms of research and innovation (RI) funding in Switzerland • Knowledge of the Swiss academic landscape (HES-SO, swissuniversities) or ability to familiarize oneself with it quickly • Proven writing skills • Rigor, curiosity, autonomy and commitment • Taste for teamwork and collaboration in an institutional setting • Ability to serve the research projects of others • Mastery of standard IT tools, ease with office and/or video software is a plus • Basic budget monitoring knowledge • Fluent command of French and English, ideally German We offer • A creative, flexible, dynamic and varied artistic environment • Teamwork with other members of the administration, teacher·s and student·s • A workplace with excellent infrastructure and a collegial atmosphere • A recruitment policy in favor of equal opportunities Start date: 1 September 2026 or to be agreed Workplace: HEMU Vaud, Lausanne Salary class: Determined in connection with the assigned LHEV function (RRCM scale) Recruitment competition: Tuesday 14 July 2026, in person in Lausanne Candidate·s will be informed of the result of the file selection on Wednesday 8 July 2026.
